El verdadero Christopher Robin tuvo una relación dificil con el famoso escritor A.A. Milne, su padre. Y es que Milne basó sus celebres libros sobre ‘Winnie the Pooh’ en la infancia de su hijo, algo que el verdadero Christopher Robin llegó a resentir.

Tal sería su malestar, que Christopher Robin hizo a su padre renegar más de una vez. Dejó la universidad en Cambridge, se enlistó en la segunda guerra mundial y fue herido y contrajo nupcias con una prima. Todo sin el consentimiento de A.A. Milne.

A pesar de todo, Christopher Robin hizo uso de su famoso nombre para fines benéficos, por ejemplo para salvar el bosque de Ashdown, donde su padre se inspiró para escribir algunas de sus historias. Al final, Christopher Robin murió en 1996.
